Reposting because I think it's one of my better efforts. It disappeared during the last outage.

Captured at long range across a mudflat with the 100-400.

The early morning light falling on the trunks had been catching my eye while out birding and I decided it was time to give one of these trees a frame of its own.

Definitely looks duller on the forum than it does as my wallpaper though, some images seem to suffer through the upload process.

Thanks SS, mangroves have a surreal feel to them in the early morning, almost like an enchanted forest. I love being there in the dawn light.
