        Thanks for the comment Alan, I did try it straighter but settled on this as it seemed to accentuate the curves.

          Fair comment Ian. With attachments up until now I've been using 1024 for the longest side. That does reproduce pretty big in square or near square format. However in panorama, it's displays quite small on the short leg. Compare the size with the snapshots I've posted titled 'Random'. They are all 600 on the long side. Is that better?

            Square or vertical, I use 800 or 900 longest side.

            On my lappy I can't see your entire vert. photos.
