A very different look! I like what you have done here Alan. There is a lack of fine detail in the image but the yellow eye counters that well. Maybe it's just me but I find the perch a little bit distracting and my eyes keep wanting to drift down there. Perhaps just a teeny bit of a crop off the bottom to reduce it's impact. That's minor though, and others may disagree.
