Gidday Jim, there's actually a bit of a story with it. We've had some pretty stormy weather here of late and this guy lost his boat, (not in shot), off a mooring in the river and it was grounded further up stream. They managed to retrieve it on the high tide and were in the process of putting it on a temporary jetty when I took the shot from Victoria Bridge. The jetty has no walkway to the shore and the two guys (you can just see the second on the rhs of the frame) were using an alluminium dingy with running ropes to ferry back and forth between jetty sections. Why they weren't motoring I've no idea as the dingy did have an outboard.
