Not a very good hiding place now, was it?
Texture, contrast and composition make this a winner to me.
White egret becomes the clear star in BandW.
Can't see anything I'd change except maybe wishing my name was in the bottom right hand corner.

Don't see many b&w images of birds and this one inspires me to attempt a few conversions.
