Point vernon Rocks

tried to wring some kind of compostion out of this beach. I found the only 3 rocks larger than a shoe box and
featured them in the foreground. ah well we do what we can

The foreground looks good Tim but the clouds look way over sharpened to me.

I like it - the clouds certainly are dramatic. Maybe if you dodged the three rocks a bit to lighten them, they would stand out a bit more and strengthen the composition and balance the bright whites in the sky.

thanks Andrew...I think my output sharpening is wrong in the clouds as well, and I didn't NR as I normally would do.

I will give it a go Alan...but in all honesty there is not much happening here. some dodging should help it along some
