  • Taking the kids for a walk

It's a pretty dismal day but the Egyption geese and a pair of Grey Lags have finally hatched their broods. Apologies for the image quality. The backgrounds are very busy (but you take what you can get) and I left ISO on auto and it's a bit high.

Thanks Phil. I was quite disappointed but as they say "thems the breaks".

Easy fix in PS for the high ISO A&B. Fabulous family photos - nothing says beautiful nature like a family with new bubs.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks Isac, agree they are beautiful but all left the area last night. we are about 1 mile from Rutland water (reservoir) and they were last seen heading in that direction. A long walk for little ones and a road to cross. Don't have PS but will have a look if there is anything in Affinity 2.

I'm sure Affinity has a noise reduction tool.

Very nice set. Those geese are quite striking and the goslings are very cute.

Wonderful shots. The little goslings are adorable.

Thanks David. We now have a new brood of Grey Lags on the pond but a Heron is hanging about which, in the past, did not bode well
