Went out quite early this morning and the sun is getting up earlier so got some early light.

1. Little Friarbird. Couldn't avoid the messy background on these

3. Australasian Darter


4. Australian White Ibis flight


5. Not a native so I normally ignore these, but this one posed so nicely.

I like them all but like the ibis in particular, Did you remove the second one to make it 3 birds?

Thanks Hans. No I didn't remove one but I briefly considered adding on to fill the gap.

All brilliant shots Alan. At least I see two of those birds here in the West. I can see why you took the Spotted Turtle Dove, they are actually quite a pretty bird. Just too many of them to feel all fuzzy about - like Magpies and Pacific Black ducks.

Excellent shots. I think the "Messy" background adds to the ambience. Better than sitting on a twig with the sky as back ground,...IMHO...
