Small birds at the Mill

Finally made it out for some photography after about a month of not really being able to. Made it to Abbotts Mill Nature Preserve to photography the variety of birds that tend to congregate near some bird feeders next to the preserve nature center building. The variety did not disappoint.

These are some wonderful bird shots David. I don't see any of these breeds here in W.A. so it's great to see fabulous photos of them. Great clarity, colour and detail (especially the Woodpecker, all well framed. My only CC would be that they look a tad dull but that may be your preference. Cheers.

I just took a look on your Flickr site and they look a lot better, so it goes to show that the treatment of uploaded images varies a lot.

I noticed they seemed a little duller here than on Flickr. Not that the pictures were super vibrant to begin with as I was shooting under trees and some fairly thick cloud cover was rolling through.

Cheers David. Probably the word I was looking for - vibrancy. Easy fix if you wanted to give them a boost, but they are OK as is.

Excellent set David. Good variety of birds an poses. I'm not seeing much difference between the images here and on Flickr
