  • I found some birds

I haven't been able to get out much lately, and not finding much when I did, but I did manage to get some shots this morning.

They are all beautiful photos Alan. That gear is helping out with getting some wonderful bird shots. I love #1 looking straight at the camera with that "I'm watching you" gaze. Some birds with that pose look rather odd, like herons - but this one is fabulous!

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Excellent shots Alan. Really like the poses on those wrens.

Thanks David, the male was kind enough to stay on that perch and pose for me.

Well caught. I know these little boids have ants in their pants and can't sit still for more than moment..

All beautiful shots. The female wren almost looks to be glaring at you as if to say get that camera out of my face The backlit wings on the Egret really set it off.

Haha I think they were looking for you to have their portraits taken!

The male certainly hung around for quite a few shots, but he definitely wasn’t sitting still.
Working...
