  • Rainbow Lorikeets

I have been trying to capture some flight shots and interaction between birds in the neighbour's umbrella tree. Nothing very satisfying as yet but this is what I have so far. The tree has grown a bit and the angles now don't give very pleasant backgrounds

    2. The partly visible second bird in this annoys me but not enough to try to remove it. Click image for larger version

I like number two and three. It looks like you are part of the family.

Great shots Alan. They have great colours for photos. I like the surroundings they're in, typical of where they like to hang out.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

As always great colours and detail. Love the almost surprised expression in number 2.

Thanks David. They are very colourful but so common here that I tend to ignore them when I see them - just more Rainbow Lorikeets.
