Better a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy.

Very nice Hans. I like the smooth metallic look of the water in #2. and the crop in the second post. The reflections in the crop look good too.

Not what I was expecting to find in the city.

The crop is my pick. Out of the two originals, I'd go with the second since it's not a busy as the first one.
Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Good shots of the egrets Hans. I'm lucky to see one in tiny suburban lake but we have had one visit recently. I did manage to get a few pics.

Not being a bird specialist like a few others here. Did you notice there are two sizes and different colour beaks? They both Egrets?

They look like Great Egrets (black legs and orange beak) and :Little Egret (Black legs and black beak - usually orange feet).

Maybe you should plant some rice?

Yes, the reflections are well seen and caught. The paddy field should called the Egret field....
