A few more birds were around this morning.

1. Golden-headed Cisticola. Male in breeding plumage showing the reason for their name.


2. A rather wet female or non-breeding male


3. Red-browed Finch in the weeds


4. Red-backed Fairy-wren that wouldn't look towards me


5. Chestnut-breasted Mannikin that was just a bit too far away

Thanks David. I was surprised to get usable images of #1 at all. It was perched between branches and with bright areas behind so I could not see much detail through the viewfinder. Very happy when I saw this one on the computer.
