Lovely shots of the Oystercatcher, and Curlew. No3 looks like a curlew in flight. Or is the beak not quite right?

If it's a far eastern Curlew, Google says the bill length can vary from 12.8cm to 20cm (5.00 - 7.9 inches) so might be possible.

Thanks. Could be a Curlew or perhaps a Whimbrel. I'm not good on wader id.

Nor am I but on second thoughts, I think you could be right with a Whimbrel.

Excellent shots Alan. Really like that one of the Curlew.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks David. I was hoping for more and better shots but the birds weren’t cooperating.

Another nice set, Alan. The flying Curlew works well, I like a bit of meaningful background with my birds, feathered ones as wellllllll
