I went down to the bay early this morning hoping to get some photos of waders but the few around were far too shy. I did get a pelican fly towards me, giving me a whole series as it approached. The last two shots are full frame with just a small crop from the right edge to centre the image.
All in focus except the last few (not included here) where the camera focused on the chest rather than the eye or head.
Pelicans aren't much of a challenge though as they are large and relatively slow fliers.
I don't usually include this many images in a post but I rarely get a bird flying towards me for this long.
