Excellent shots. I like the two of the birds in the rusty fence, bit of a juxtaposition.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks David. A couple of other species landed on that fence at around the same time but I wasn’t able to get a pic.

I like #4 It looks as if he is giving instructions. It all seems to be working well. I have a little bird that raises the alarm when i go outside must see if I can capture it and see what it is.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Your welcome. bird has gone after making noise for a few weeks. looked like your little grass bird. Maybe had a nest behind the water tank under the veranda.

    I missed these, Alan....

A great set. That beak on the Honey Eater is something to behold.

My bird photo-ing is for these small woodland birds. They do demand quite a lot of selectivity re backgrounds etc.

Z8 is performing very well too...

Thanks Mark. Their beak is on the large size for the size of the bird. This one has its tongue out too.

It is quiet - perhaps everyone is busy with end of year events and Christmas preparations.

The autofocus on these new cameras is something special. Superb set, colours and detail. Nice framing of the brown honeyeater in no.2 within the links of the fence and nicely caught pose in no. 3.
