  • Slim pickings at Eagleby

Eagleby hasn't produced much for the last couple of visits. The plants in the main lagoon are beginning to thin out but there is still a long way to go, Where you can see the surface it is covered by Azolla (a type of floating aquatic fern).

Very few water birds but even the bush birds have been scarce lately.

I managed to get some shots but most are too far away or partly obscured but are Ok for display here. I have a couple more that will be in a later post.

    1. Red-browed Finch. I could remove the grass stem behind the bird the the photo isn't good enough to biother

Quality over quantity any day Alan, and you certainly have quality shots there.

Adorable fairy wrens. Nothing to complain about there.

Wonderful shots Alan. Really like the colors on those Finches.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Nothing wrong with any of these Alan, I'm sure we'd all love to take similar shots. I would be putting your "not good enough" photos into my keepers archive

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks Isac. I’m keeping these, but most of them are just a bit too small in the frame for anything except web display.

Cheers mate, 99% a huge amount of our photographic work is mainly for online showing nowadays and I can still see a big gap between good and bad in IQ.
