  • Honeyeaters from Eungella

    These were all taken in a number of Callistemon trees beside the carpark. The birds were playing hard to get, tending to stay partly concealed behind flowers or foliage.


    1. Eastern Spinebill. I wasn't able to get a shot with it facing me but at least you can see its eye.

    Well Alan, these are all wonderful shots of beautiful birds enjoying their smörgåsbord in lovely natural surrounds. Great colours, great detail.

      It would be a candidate but it is a bit drab - a more colourful bird might beat it.

    Stunning shots. The first 3 are my picks.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.
