#1 - Shelduck on a log looking very similar to a Crocodile. They're call them Logadiles, which was mentioned by a skipper on a boat. when we went searching for crocs in FNQ.

#2 - Daddy Shelduck, keeping watch on one of te kids.

#3 - Willie on a stick.

#4 - Rufous Nankeen Night Heron. They stay motionless for ages and then dart onto small tasty morsels. (large crop so IQ not so good). Lucky to see these birds, so happy to get any shots of them.

Yea, I guess if you saw one of the logadiles, you would be swimming for long...Those Heron's are cute, as it the willie on the stick. Well caught Isac...

Nice set Isac, and well done getting decent shots of the night heron - I'm still waiting to even see one.

That log really does look like a crocodile.

Cheers Alan. I didn't notice the "logadile" until culling. I spotted the heron a couple of days ago, a lot closer but tucked away in some dense scrub, but I managed a couple of shots - yet to view on the PC.
