Excellent shots. The colors on those Shelducks are stunning.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thank you David. Good to get out with the camera after a bit of time out. There's plenty of colour coming for wildlife and flora, now "Spring is Here".

Love the detail in the Grebe and the duck looks good enough to eat.
Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

Thanks Mark. It's always good to see the ducks in Spring. They seem so focused on food gathering. I don't think I could survive a UK winter. The older I get the more of the cold I feel.

The Grebes are so small and never easy to get a good shot. These ones are very shy and move away as soon as you move towards them. The Shelducks are not on the prefered breed for eating, so I'll just leave the for photography
FYI, Pekin ducks have the best flavour.

Thanks Alan. Your bird shots are the benchmark that I'm always aspiring to achieve. Cheers.

I think our bird shots are of a roughly similar standard Isac, and you certainly make the most of your little lake.

I'll take that Alan, but I still regard your shots as a good benchmark for me. Your superior gear to mine probably nudges you to the front
