Fairy-wrens, Cisticola and Pardalote

1. Male Red-backed Fairy-wren. It is holding a petal (I think) to present to a female.


2. Another Male Red-backed Fairy-wren in transition between breeding and non-breeding plumage, with patches of brown and black.


3. Striated Pardalote preparing a nest in a large dead Melaleuca Tree


4. Golden-headed Cisticola

All fabulous photos Alan. #5 is a gem. Colour, framing, pose and BG separation - 99 out of 100. It would have been 100 if you got rid of the dead looking leaf top right.

The male fairly wren with the petal is a very colourful, and is an amazing photo.

I would not be bothered about that dead leaf, it kinda holds the image, if you know what I mean. A border might be another way to put it...
