  • Eagleby came good this morming

I thought I was going to come home with a single photo this morning. Got the Fairy-wren soon after arriving and then wandered around for an hour without anything else but picked up the others after I started back to the car park.

    1. Variegated Fairy-wren. I would like more shots of these but I rarely see them. This one landed a short distance away but only stayed for one shot. The head is a bit soft.

    2. Azure Kingfisher. I think this is the first one I've seen around here

    3. Striated Pardalote. There were a pair of these but the second stayed behind some foliage and changing position to clear that would have put me in the river.

They are all super photos. The Fairy Wren's head looks pretty sharp to me....

Thanks Mark but the small size here covers defects very well

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

I think you came good more than eagelby! Great set of images.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Thanks Hans, but it's hard to get the shots when the birds don't show themselves.

Good to see you back from your travels.
