Humming bird

I had great hopes for this picture but so far the post processing has me defeated.
The bird was about five meters away looking up at a steep angle I have toned down the bright spots and added some blue to them to try and make them less obtrusive I have also brightened up the bird a bit as he blended in with the shaded side being photographed. I have not looked up the name of the vine but a local lady told me it only flowers for two weeks each year. Taken at Hilo Hawaii.

Can you share the Original Hans? The tree looks like an African Tulip.

Red Jade Vine perhaps. Also, the bird looks like a Warbling white-eye, introduced to Hawai'i from Japan. Nice shot.

I think Google agrees with the Red Jade Vine. The picture from the sunny sideshows it up better. This is another from underneath with the bird.The bird becomes hard to see in the shade as it had a fairly dark back.

Very difficult to get good focus on the bird Hans. I had a play and it got better with a HS layer to reduce the reds.
