Small birds

Some from this morning.


1. Tawny Grassbird in the grass where they like to hide.


2. Tawny Grassbird in the open where I like to find them.


3. And same bird preening


4. Female Superb Fairy-wren - among the twigs.


5. Male Superb Fairy-wren. I should replace the perch with a branch.

Lovely set of little birdies. They move so fast, that it can be quite a feat to capture them.

Our (UK) Redbreast Robins, on the other hand, stop and pose for photos...

Another nice set. You did well to get the focus on the bird in amongst the grass in #1 and, if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have noticed the perch in #5 I just saw a super shot of a very pretty bird
