  • Tawny Grassbird

I went for a walk at Eagleby Wetlands on Saturday morning and found plenty of mosquitoes but few birds, so I tried Tygum Park this morning and was pleased to find plenty of birds with no mosquitoes.

Here are a couple of shots of a Tawny Grassbird that perched on a high stem allowing a clear shot.

Lovely clear shots and great feather detail. I prefer the second, mainly because I find the large green area in no.1 slightly distracting.

Thank you. They don't often pose in the open for you but this one did.

Wonderful colours and clarity Alan. The BG's are perfect for emphasising the bird.

Showing off your skills, very professional Alan.

Thanks Hans, but luck and sheer persistence is probably more important.
