  • White Faced Heron

    The water is going fast so the only birds around now are the herons, crakes, stilts, yellow rumped thornbills, black fronted dotterels and few pink eared ducks.

    Excellent shots Iscac, especially #2 and #3.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

      Cheers David. They are fascinating to watch. They just stay very still, hone in on the prey and then strike so super fast. They prefer to visit when the water level has dropped.

    I agree that #2 and #3 are the picks here Isac. #2 looks to be a better angle than #1 and has better colour and detail. Excellent reflection in #3
