I came across a pair of these that let me get a bit closer. These are both the same bird - male I think. Background wasn't the best but they have come up ok with a bit of processing.

Lovely images Alan. They are a great looking bird but to me their head is too small for the body. Maybe a bit of PS magic could fix that? Just for fun of course

A quick and dirty adjustment just for Isac I kept it fairly realistic.
Just as well the poor bird can't see the photo.

A fancy pigeon I would say...
