  • The Photoshop Remove tool is amazing

Taken at Eagleby on Monday, my only decent shot of a Variegated Fairy-wren but surrounded by clutter, so I decided to try to save it.

Sure did. Also had to clean up a few leftovers with clone stamp.

Yes I saw that and have used it to remove stuff or fill empty areas after a rotate a number of times. I wanted more control on this one and didn't fully trust generative fill on it.

It works very well, but I can't see myself using it to add content.

    G'day Alan

That is a v-e-r-y- smart bit of editing software -- and the result is excellent to those of us who do not know the start point

      Thanks Phil.

It is very smart, but not perfect. I had to clean up some remnants and such using the clone stamp.

You just brush over what you want removed (no need to be precise) and it’s smart enough to remove an object while leaving other objects that touch or cross it. Generate AI is even better.

Impressive. The shot looks nice too.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.
