  • Sulpher Crested Cockatoos.

These sulphur-crested cockatoos (Cacatua galerita) were in their thousands, getting a perch in many trees which lined the banks of the Murray River in South Australia. They also nest in the limestone cliff faces.

Nicely done Isac, Excellent texture in the cliff and great light in the first.

Cheers. The whole area was buzzing with these sulphies and later joined by 1000's of corellas. sometimes the light was perfect with the sun low down and projecting light onto the limestone cliffs. It's a sight to see and it's difficult to capture the immense scale of the scene.

The forum is a bit quiet now so I might do a thread with scenes of the trip.
