  • Little Pied Cormorant.

    This bird posed nicely for me in the early morning sun and even stayed on the stump while I moved to its sunny side. I took far too many shots so here are some of the poses.

    I apologise for posting so many shots of the same bird.

    That light is very nice. Excellent shots.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

    I agree with the masses Alan. Great series and the light lifts them to a great height. It's uncanny how I have a very similar shot to your #3. It must be one of their favourite poses.

      They seem to be on the lookout whenever they're on a perch, maybe they feel a bit vulnerable.
