Hi Chris. All look a bit dark and some have missed focus on the bird. Try spot focus and set metering to spot as well. This will make sure the bird gets good exposure, which is most important.

These images are way too small for the forum. They should be maximum 1200 pixels on the longest side and under 300kb. This gives our members the best available viewing size to see your images.

Birds moving about and wind are not conducive to good images but do persevere Keep experimenting with the settings and your technique and you'll get better each day.

Not a lot of data so it has pixelated. But it has a good composition and feel and even the blossoms that would be described as a detraction look good in the picture.
