  • Flight of the Ibis

    They were about out of sight by the time I got the camera and put the tele lens on. It took a while to spot them again and I had some difficulty focussing on their eyes.
    I could barely see them with the naked eye. It was recorded for posterity as I had not seen them here before. I think they gathered to make use of the updraft and have taken off for fields afar!

    I don't usually see so many on the move Hans. With all your issues in trying to get the shot, you did fairly well.

        Poor performance from your camera if it can't detect the eyes Hans . Looks quite spectacular - Straw-necked Ibis I think.
