My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

You did the same thing I did in my last bird shot cut off its head in the reflection. Nearly perfect. The lights are with you!

Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Cheers Hans. I guess we have all chopped of bits we should have included. I used centre point focus and didn't re-frame the shot. I'm a naughty boy

Thanks Phil. Sometimes the smallest thing catches my eye. The Tammy can get as close as 100mm when zoomed out to 400mm (one of the things I love about it) and it still gets good focus.

I took one today of a grey teal standing on a small half submerged branch with a good reflection and was very aware of not chopping it off !!

Super zoom lenses can be extremely convenient. Nice shot.
        Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks David. The 18-400 is a permanent fixture on the camera, I vary rarely take it off. It covers a huge range. I have a few lenses that cover more range on both ends and they only get a workout when I'm experimenting. 150-500 Sigma, Canon 10-18 for super wide and Tamron 17-50 f:2.8 which is my sharpest lens.
