Out again today and the Swans were just relaxing in the water, close to the water's edge.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Such beautiful birds. Last saw them live in France where there were a small family that remains from Josephine Boneparte's time.
Better a full bottle in front of me

Excellent shots Isac. Really liking number 3 for that natural framing.
        Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Wow! She was born in the 18th century! I guess the swans had a long flight to make it over there

I do love this little lake and you're right it's very peaceful. Most days I walk Charlie in the mornings and sometimes I don't see anyone - and that I like as well.

Thanks David. I took #3 with that exact idea in mind and I'm glad it worked out. It's always nice to get a slightly wider shot to help frame the subject.

Ah I get it - just like Russia is doing in the Ukraine but they not giving gifts, just collecting things.
