  • Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike

    It didn't hang around long but I managed to get a couple of shots. I think this was the closest I've been to one.

      Thanks Mark. The small size hides a few flaws but I was pleased to get them. A fairly common bird here but a bit shy.

      The subject is the most important part IMHO. A few flaws are unimportant. Great shot..

        Nice shots with lots of detail. Having looked it up it appears we get two types of Shrike as seasonal visitors in the UK, the Red Backed Shrike and Great Grey Shrike. Mainly around the East and South coast.
