Thanks David. These birds are real characters. They pair for life and it's quite upsetting and emotional to watch their mourning ritual that they go through if they lose a partner.

I like how they are facing each other and what looks like a fairly low viewpoint.

I did get down slightly Alan, which is no mean feat. They don't seem to be bothered with folks passing by. They are a beautiful bird with such unique colours.

They do - I agree - although I think the willie wagtails are more just angry little fellas who aren't fearful of getting in your face if they think you're a threat. They do swoop when I get too close to their breeding grounds.
