  • Northern Mockingbird

Just sitting in various trees running through his song collection. I counted about 15 unique songs from Cardinals to Osprey.

Very good shots, don't think we have Mocking Birds here where I live.

Good clear shots with clean backgrounds.

We don’t have Mockingbirds in Australia but we do have Lyrebirds that mimic other birds and all sorts of sounds. There is a famous video of one mimicking the chainsaws being used to destroy its habitat.

Mockingbirds on my university campus imitated car alarms and cell phone ringtones. I've seen videos of them mimicking frogs, cats, and dogs. There's one in my backyard that has started mimicking Bald Eagle calls.

Impressive. The camera sounds were really interesting and very realistic.

nice details in these, particularly the first. looks to have been at a bit of an up angle and what appears to be a bit of a halo appearing around the bird.
wonder if some shadow lift caused that?
        good work

I don't notice any halo around the bird in the first one. I also did the most minimal of shadow lifts on it.
