Great side on shot Phil. Lovely detail and well framed. They have a call similar to a dog barking so I always know when they are about. You are correct with the Honeyeater name and eaglem was almost right as well. It is the second largest species of Australian honeyeater and named Red Wattle Bird. Your species in NSW and Southern QLD are the Anthochaera carunculata species and here in WA they are the Anthochaera carunculata woodwardi, which are slightly smaller and commonly called the Western Red Wattlebird.
