A few from this morning

I went for a walk around Tygum Park this morning, seeing many birds but not many cooperating. The Tawny Grassbirds and Fairy-wrens in particular were teasing me by moving around behind grass and foliage and rarely coming into a clear spot.

1. Intermediate Egret


2. Superb Fairy-wren


3. Little Pied Cormorant. I would have preferred a natural perch.


4. Intermediate Egret stalking prey


5. Channel-billed Cuckoo. High in a tree as usual. Probably a juvenile as it was following and begging from a crow
