  • More shorebirds

    I went down to the bay to try and get some more shore-birds before they leave on their annual trip to places north. I only saw one migratory species so perhaps some have left already. This is part 1.

    1. Bar-tailed Godwit feeding. This and some others were taken a 1/8000 shutter speed - I must have rotated the dial accidentally at some stage.

    Your certainly getting some great shots with the D850. Super sharp and detailed, particularly like the detail on the underside of the wing in #2.
