    Most likely a Pacific Black Duck, showing feeding behaviour. Not the best end, but all that’s available when it’s dabbling like this.

          Nice shot. It's always amusing when ducks do that.
          Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

            looks like a pacific black duck to me, almost showing the first part of its latin name. good and sharp. looks a tad overseposed to me so could be toned down a bit if you were that way inclined

              Thanks for the ID and comment. It’s a happy snap and not something I’m interested in, I just posted it because bird photos seem to be a compulsory subject around here.
