Just for something different, I thought I'd try a 3 shot composite of this little New Holland Honeyeater that I captured before I put the camera into mothballs . It looked very nervous as it flicked around keeping an eye on things close by.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

That has worked really well. All three shots of the bird super sharp and great detail and colours. I'm assuming you changed the sky as well?

Thanks A&B. Yes new sky, it was pretty grey and dull, so needed a lift. PS does a great job, it's improved immensely in a short time.

Thank you Mark, fun to do and good to experiment with different blending techniques.

Cheers Taboo. They are a cute little bird. Very flighty and always seem nervous. They don't stay in the same spot for long so it's always great to get a few shots.

Cheers Alan. As you know I like to do something that challenges me. Lots of layers and masks and blend modes but all fun.

Cheers mate. Helps when the bird stays in the same spot for a while.
