  • Cormorant, Duckling and Corella

    1. Not as much nesting activity now although a few birds flying back and forth, including this Little Pied Cormorant with a largish twig, green leaves and all.

    Excellent shots. Really like the one of the duckling.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

    Yes a super set Wizg, that little duck is an Aaaah photo..:-)

    I find it fascinating that the cormorants' nest in trees...

      Thanks Mark. The cormorants often perch in trees when resting. You wouldn't think their feet were suited to perching and nesting in trees.

    Have to be happy with that lot. Look out for my duck photo I have one
    Better a full bottle in front of me

    good work on all of these. great details in the duck portrait. nice light on the corella, but of a bummer with the braches around the head. maybe worth having a go at removing that.
