    Mum and dad up very high getting away from a smaller bird that was giving them a hard time.

    I like the position of the birds and that there is some detail in the sky, but a bit more detail in the birds would have been nice. Not much choice here because the the overcast sky - either the birds are in silhouette or the sky blows to pure white. It's nice to get shots of Wedgetails though - I only have a single slightly soft shot.

      This is a hefty crop as well as they were quite high. Notice what looks like damage to the wing as well. The image has both the sky darkened and the birds lightened as well as an extra two stops when exposed.

    Always a sight to see the smaller birds harassing the larger ones.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

      good work getting these.
      amazing that they take this off smaller birds.
      been trying to photograph a wedgie for a lot of today. been driven off a roo carcass 3 times already. takes it from 2 maggies, but when 4 come, off it goes
