  • striated pardalote wingspread

    another image from the pardalote nest,
    he was flapping quite a bit, I assume cos the bark was smooth as he was sticking the head in the hollow.
    was wishing that he did the head turn the other way cos it messed up composition a bit, but sadly I didnt get a pic like that. happy enough with the pix I got and probably have more opportunities to try again.

    Nothing wrong with that Stephen, you can't always pose them to your liking. Lovely light.

          Nice work getting the wings spread out like that.
          Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.
