#1 - I just liked the light in this one, creating a bit of a silhouette on the shimmering water.

#2 - I thought the "cross" formed by the swan and reflection was quite different for this shot.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Nice shots. Really like that 2nd one.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Thanks David. It was just a quick snap, so lucky shot I guess. It's nice to have them so close to home. This is the longest they've stayed so hoping for some cygnets soon.

The first is nice enough but doesn't stand out for me Isac.

I do like the shape formed by the bird and reflection in the second. I wonder if a closer crop on the left and right might emphasise the shape a little more.

Thanks Alan. #1 just had a good feel with the overcast light over the lake and I thought the swans added some nice ambience - I suppose it was one of those shots that you had to be there.
The only way to narrow the sides in #2 was a square crop.
