probably should have used a slower shutter speed on this or maybe even cloned out the rain drops, but didnt
was using higher iso and shutter in case they flew or opened wings or something.
    d5 600f4 tc17 (1000)mm 1/800 iso 3200. 90 percent of frame.
we were out walking today around lunchtime and I checked on the bower bird bower but no one home.
looks like he has done some mowing in front and fixed up the sagging bower a bit.
also of note he had some blue feathers there, obviously off one of these birds,
so I have maybe easier access for pix if he performs for me.

Beautifully rendered image Stephen. The raindrops don't bother me but it probably would be better to remove them. Good luck with the Bowerbirds.

The colours on the bird are so striking! I haven't see them here. I'd get rid of the rain drops

        Beautiful bird. Nicely done.
