  • female bower bird inspecting bower #2

    another from todays' inspection of the bower.
    another female, from a slightly different angle as the first pic. also on a stick I kinda wish wasnt there (that and the ones in the front)
    some blue stuff visible in thie pic too.

    I like the side-on shot of the bird, but I prefer the other shot, I think. The sticks seem a bit more intrusive in this one. Still it's good to have shots of birds at the bower, and everything else about both pics is very well done.

        Nicely done, agree wit MJ224 about the eyes, I never worry about sticks and things, they`re part of the enviroment our feathered friends live in.

          Those eyes are striking. Nice shot.
          Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

            I agree with all above Stephen. Sticks are part of the surounds so not much can be done about that. As long as the bird is sharp with no obstructions, then that's all you can ask for. Well done on both shots. They have beautiful patterns and colours.
