  • Wood Duck Family (3)

It appears I was mistaken about the loss of 14 wood duck bubs. Parents have hidden the survivors away in a small and quiet water pool nit far from the main lake. 7 remain so I hope they survive.

#1 - One of the "Lucky Seven".

Nice and sharp with good colour Isac. #2 stands out for me with great eye contact and excellent colour, contrast, and sharpness.

I like what Alan W has said but I am more for the 1st one as I like the water colour but this is just splitting hairs as I see it.

Cheers David. Great time of year to see this happening right in our street.

Thanks Alan, sometimes it works. I was pleased how this lot turned out.

Thanks Ralph. That lovely green was reflected by the grass/trees and it really gave a good contrast.

Nice shots as usual. Pity you couldn`t get down to their level more but I know that`s not always possible.

Thanks Kevin. Not possible to get down low, the banks are too steep and I don't want to get in the water, 'cause getting back up the bank would be a nightmare

            this is a good series.
love the green water in the first
but the open beak in the 2nd makes it a winner for me.
