Nice shot. The light and colors look good. Maybe the bird could be a touch brighter but not too much.Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Good framing in this one Kevin. I agree the bird could do with a lift. In ACR I boosted the shadows to 80 and it made a big difference.I Shoot A Canon

Hi Kevin. Here's a simple way to remove halos in Photoshop. I showed Hans in this post and he said it worked a treat.

Nicely framed with the bird in profile and the two clear fields of foreground and background.
It does seem to have a slight halo around the bird so I suspect you may have lifted the shadows a little. I find that selecting the subject in Lightroom or Photoshop, then lifting shadows in the subject seems to reduce halos.

Hi Kevin. This is with a shadows boost (+80) in ACR and halo removal. PS: I love that bokeh you got. Well done with that.

Much better Kevin. Next part is to remove the halo around the bird. Have a look at this quick method to do that:
